Attorney Joseph Flood was retained by the Mexican government to represent Alejandro Castaneda, a Mexican national charged with capital murder for killing five men. Mr. Flood litigated the case and obtained a parole-eligible sentence for Mr. Castaneda. This was Mr. Flood’s seventh capital case, five ended with parole eligible sentences. All but two of those cases involved the murder of multiple victims.
