Internships

A number of schools regularly provide volunteer interns to work with us, including law students from George Mason University, The College of William & Mary, Birmingham City University and University of West England, forensic psychology students from Marymount University, and other graduate and undergraduate students who have a passion for justice. We usually have one or more interns year-round and often as many as four during the summer. We strive to ensure a meaningful internship experience for our students; for example, British students from the University of West England have helped advance important prisoners’ rights issues pertaining to Guantanamo Bay detainees, bringing an international perspective to the cause. The office is accepting applications for the summer and the school year.
